Unfortunately, like you, too many h-game developers on here and elsewhere get too ambitious about something they just started up and figure all it takes is some of that delicious patreon money and the motivation they have currently. I could see this being a decent little project with more investment if you didn't drop that little bit. I think dollar signs have clouded your reasoning, and that's too bad. Now, you're one guy, and you claim you had the brilliance of history's greatest authors to put out an engaging and satisfying script after "a few weeks"? Not buying it, bud. I've heard the process on their end is a constant "well, fuck, that makes no sense in the context of this" repeat process of changing, editing, etc. Giving, and other devs their due (even if I dislike their politics), they don't sit on a script they put only "a few weeks" into and say "good enough" like that will be enough. Apply that same logic to a game, whose development requires years and the team is generally a group who have to work within their specific sub-groups and be better than "good enough".
